Effective exercise for the prevention and management of low back pain delivered by a Edyta Grigg a certified trained exercise professional. The Back4Good® Programme was developed specifically to help those with low back pain and includes exercises approved by the NHS, by using tailored Pilates-based exercises that are safe and effective to help with the prevention and management of low back pain.
Edyta – is an experienced Body Control Pilates teacher, who has undertaken and passed additional Back4Good® training. This qualification is certified by Europe’s foremost Pilates organisation and means that she is qualified to take referrals for lower back pain. The training is endorsed by BackCare, the UK charity for healthier backs, by leading medical practitioners and by the independent bodies who oversee quality and standards for the UK health and fitness industry. The qualification held by Back4Good® Practitioners sits at Level 4 on the UK Register of Exercise Professionals.
How do I get Started ‘Healthy Back’ Classes?
If you want an effective way to strengthen your back or to prevent back pain, then sign up for the Back4Good® group class or One to One sessions. Back4Good® classes will give you a gentle, balanced workout with the focus on strengthening the core abdominals that do so much for your posture and for supporting your back. More importantly class sizes are small so that you get maximum attention and support.
The Back4Good® Programme – In the class you will learn the Pilates ABCs’ – Alignment, Breathing and Centring (Core Stability) – in a supportive environment. From there you will move on to a series of exercises designed to control your movement and improve your posture, increasing both the strength and the flexibility of your back.
Referral to the Back4Good® Programme – If your doctor, physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor refers you to a Back4Good® Practitioner – or if you enrol for the ‘Healthy Back’ classes – you can have a total peace of mind that you are being taught by a qualified professional who understands your needs.
