About me

Berkshire Pilates Referral & Sports Therapy was established to provide high-quality, evidence-based Pilates and sports therapy services tailored to individual client needs.

My interest in Pilates began over 20 years ago in Paris and gradually developed into a professional passion. In 2016, I undertook comprehensive teacher training with the highly respected Body Control Pilates Academy in London, studying under internationally recognised Pilates experts.

I chose Body Control Pilates as it is widely recognised as the benchmark for excellence in Pilates teacher training. The Body Control Pilates Method is suitable for individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and physical abilities. I am a fully certified Body Control Pilates Instructor and a registered member of the Body Control Pilates Association. To ensure the highest professional standards, I undertake regular continuing professional development.

In 2020, I established my own dedicated Pilates studio, specialising in small group classes and one-to-one personalised sessions. This approach allows for a high level of precision, attention to detail, and fully individualised programming. I have extensive experience working successfully with clients presenting with acute and chronic back conditions, supporting long-term improvements in movement, strength, and functional confidence.

In addition to Pilates instruction, I am qualified as a Back4Good BackCare Practitioner, Pilates for Golf Instructor, Swedish and Sports Massage Therapist, and I hold certifications in Exercise Referral, Nutrition, and Reformer Pilates. This multidisciplinary expertise enables me to deliver a holistic, client-centred approach to rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.

I am fully committed to ongoing professional development and dedicated to helping clients improve strength, mobility, posture, and overall physical wellbeing through Pilates and sports therapy.

The Body Control Pilates Method offers a comprehensive programme of exercises adapted from the classical work developed by Joseph Pilates, carefully modified to be accessible and effective for the modern body.

As part of my ongoing professional development, I regularly attend training courses and am a member of the Body Control Pilates Association.

All classes are kept small (maximum of six clients), allowing for individual attention. I provide all equipment and use a wide variety of apparatus to support and challenge each client appropriately.

It has been a wonderful journey so far, and I am passionate about sharing the many benefits Pilates brings to both body and mind.
